The first time I heard the name Tropical Punk I thought someone had come up with a new ridiculous music genre. Luckily for the world though, it’s not a genre of music, but the name of a band. A band that, with Ends of the World, brings us a refreshingly original album…

Western MA Weekend

Hello Again
We took a very long break this winter but we are back. Here are some things that happened:
Expressway to Yr Skull (a radio show on WMUA at UMass, Tuesdays 8-10; listen here) played Tropical Punk a couple times! so rad.
Then our friends at AAM sent the Sweetheart EP around to the rest of college radio. A bunch of stations added the EP and sent great feedback. Thanks to all those stations! (too...

WatchTropical Punk played a show last night with these cool guys, Summer People, at the Nines. There was a good crowd and free drinks are fun, especially when the bartenders were taking whisky shots with us.
Here’s a video that Ashley and Rhiannon did for them a little while back, which is pretty cool.
